hi girlies, im thinking about getting small pin badges for my wedding favours. on bhf website you can buy there pin badges for only £1 each obviously all the money goes to the british heart foundation. the thing im having problems with is how to display them. i cant just stick a pin badge on the table? should i make cards for them or maby attach to the place cards. i know its only something small but its very personal to me and my h2b. will the guests get it?

I was thinking of getting Dove House trolley coins to pop in my crackers along with the bottle of bubbles and jokes. My step dad has been receiving such fantastic care in one of their hospices it'll be a way of giving something back x

I am doing the pin badges but have split them into 3 charities that mean alot to me and matt as couldnt just choose one its a fantastic idea and helps other people in the process
We are doing
Alzheimers disease - in memory of my grandad Cancer research - in memory of matts gran and grandad Lily's foundation as matt's niece has got a disease that the lily's foundation are raising money to find treatments
xx
Met Matt at 10 years old
Marrying him at 27 years old

it's a lovely idea - we're doing it too, splitting it between two charities :)

Lovely idea and I like the ones on the cards you have shown.
H2B and I are going to get cards from C.R. UK - he lost his mum to cancer so we thought it'd be something special that people will appreciate and it has real meaning to us. A way of her being remembered and part of the day. I hope that we can do her proud, I never met her as she passed away before I even met H2B.
Beautiful idea hun and nice to hear others have the same idea to do charity favours xx

its realy good to see so many people doing charity favours. ive been to a load of weddings and some have rubbish favours. id rather give something like this and know the money went to the charity rather than buying sweets or something that people will nevr look at again. and the money is doing good xxxx

im also having 3 different charitys to donate to as wedding favours as they are very meaningful to both our families certainly beats something most people would stuff in a draw :) xx

Claire Bear-85 (lol, sorry, I still have and love my Care Bears - I must grow up - think H2B feels threatened by them).
Anyway - ditto to your comment, too many weddings I've been to with favours that I feel are wasted as guests don't seem to appreciate them, at least I know these are going to be appreciated and do some good x

I'm having marie curie pins hun as my mum spent her last weeks in their hospice and they were amazing! I was thinking of having them in little boxes with a little pack of love hearts or make chocolate lolllies and pin the bottom of the plastic cover with a bow. What about something like that? xx

I love the idea of them in a box with love hearts!
We're going to put the Cancer Research cards in a Chinese wedding red packets (traditionally they're supposed to have money in them as gifts from the elders to the bride and groom after serving tea and from the bride and groom to children). We're also going to put a gold chocolate coin in them.
