We are having our reception in a marquee. Do we have chair covers just for day guests and then bring out extra chairs for evening do or would you dress all the chairs with the covers?

I think you just do day chair covers and then I don't think for the evening do that everyone has chairs but I don't know for certain .. Your venue should be able to give you some advice?

If you can get your chair covers cheap enough theirs no harm in having enough for your evening guests too :) just remember some people will be at the bar / dancing / using entertainment / outside smoking so probably won't need one chair per guest :) x
i'd just do day chairs but I'm not having chair covers at all so probably not the best person to give advice lol xx

Depends on whether you are taking tables out for the dance floor or not, if you are you won't need extra, but if you can get them cheap enough then I would be tempted to do them all.

At the church that we are hoping to get married in if they let us have the reception there I'm not sure if they will have chair cover or not that's why me and my H2B is waiting to see what they say then if we need to buy some then we would go and buy them
CommentAuthorNatalieS200
Ours do covers just for the day guests, the evening guests won't need them, they just bring extra chairs out for them xx

If me and H2B have to get some chair covers, it would only be for the evening because we are hopefully getting married in a church
CommentAuthorMrs D2B
I would just do for the day guests, mainly because I have just looked through the contract with the company providing ours and it states that if the chairs are stacked with the covers on this may damage the covers and we would therefore loose our damage deposit, so I'm not quite sure how you would go about storing your evening chairs though out the day without damaging the covers
