Hi all wondering if anyone can help me? Ive chosen 3 lovely dresses for my bridesmaids and they are gorgeus (im very supersticious) but my h2b thinks its only the brides dress hes not supposed to see but i think its the brides and bridesmaids dress can anyone help?

I think that it is only the Bride's dress. But I would say to you that if you get a bad feeling that you shouldn't show him the bm dresses, don't show him. It is not worth the risk. xxx

its only the brides dress hun, my h2b helped to choose our bridemaid dresses - well i chose them and he agreed they were lovely :-)

Agree with all the other ladies, it's just the brides dress. Me and h2b are taking his daughter bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend to the very shop I got my dress from as we can get a discount there but I'm very worried that I won't be able to keep eyes off my dress and h2b will notice. Going to have to be very careful as I too am very superstitious xx

My H2B has seen bridesmaid dresses as they were from the same shop as the suits, and we matched the colours up :) xxx

I would agree that it's the brides dress that the h2b can't see... we choose our bridemaids and flower girls dresses together..
@Mrs D-2b.. it maybe worth while asking the shop to move the dress out of your sight range... that's what I did and they were must helpful in my request... :-) x

just the bride don't worry, my OH has seen everything apart from my dress but i think he's sneaked a peek at the pic i have buried in my phone as i caught him with it the other day and he had a huge grin on his face and wouldn't tell me why >:-|

It's just the bride's dress but the groom picks the wedding dress and bm dresses in Don't Tell The Bride, I wonder if anyone has had bad luck off the programme and split up? eeek

You might want him to see the colours of the BMs hun as he might want the usher's cravats to match! That's what we've done. Or if you're feeling supersticious then ask the BM shop if you can have a swatch if you'd like matching cravats xx

Although i agree with the above posters that its only the brides dress he shouldn't see, I am keeping my bridesmaids dresses a secret too. not for the fear of bad luck or anything, but i want them all to be a surprise for him. I have a daughter and he has 2, and my sons girlfriend will also be a bridesmaid too. all 4 of them are aged between 23 & 25 and i think it would be a lovely surprise for him on the day. i dont want him to see anything, the colours, the flowers, even the shoes. nada! LOL
