    im not too sure but i think you have to be christened to be married in a catholic church. you could always be christened before the wedding though xx

    yeah I thought that i would have to be christened and also my daughter and the baby when it comes along too, think that it just a bit too much and i wouldnt get christned tbh, we will ask his priest as his mum goes to church regularly he doesnt, if not we will get married in a non denominaltional church xx

    we had the 2 kids christened in a c of e church and when we asked bout getting married there i asked would i need to be christened and the vicar said no. you can only ask. i told h2b that if i had to get christened we wuldnt be getting married there. im not religious 2bh, just want the church cos the kids were christened there xx

    Yeah you can, as long as one of you is catholic. You will have to attend "marriage lessons" and attend regularly on a Sunday to mass before your wedding. Speak to the priest though, they will be very nice and helpful xxxx

    The local parish priest has discretion, there are no hard and fast catholic rules but it varies between priests so yours needs to be your first port of call.

    Ours wouldnt marry us as we have both been married before, despite being catholic, attending mass regularly and our children being baptised :((

    The daft thing is that as our first marriages werent in a catholic church they dont even recognise them as being proper ones, just enough to stop marrying us.... I have a divorced friend who had no problem in her parish :((

    Yeah i think that in a few weeks we will go to church on the Sunday with Peters and mum and talk to the priest xx
