Ours are different. Both White gold but mine matches my engagement ring and h2bs ring is a plain White gold wedding band.I don't think it matters Hun xx

Our rings are completely different. Mine is a 9ct yellow gold double set (engagement n wedding ring) H2b's ring is titanium with a laser piece cut out of it.

Well mine is yellow gold with some channel set diamonds in but H2B wants plain white gold. Dosen't bother me as we've both got to be happy with them as we'll be wearing them the rest of our lives. Really don't think it matters!

of course, h2b is a joiner so he can't have as soft a metal as me or he'l go through 1 every 6 months or something daft. It's a symbol of your love not a matching sweatshirt!

What many couples do is to have some element of the design (such as engraving) the same on both rings.
Take your time when choosing your rings - they'll be with you longer than anything else you buy for your wedding.

Of course they can be different, all down to what you each would like wear. Remember you will be wearing it all the time, there's no point you or him wearing a ring you don't like just because they match. You both have different personalities, so let the rings match you as people :)

Yes, you can have different materials, different styles. Mine will be hammered gold to match the engagement ring, possibly with tiny diamonds in the band. His is either gold or platinum, to be decided, maybe with a central pattern. I think he wants to use the same jeweller who is making mine.

course they can be different! both mine and h2b is 18ct white gold and both with diamonds in. we choose them at different times but he wanted them to match. they are very sparkley just like my engagement ring. xx

well craig bought me a platinum trilogy engagement ring :-) but platinum is so expensive to buy that when we loked at wedding rings, they were about £500 at least. i would have a white gold one or something but there is a big colour difference. however craig will prob have gold. we will most likely get the same shape but craigs will be a bit wider and mine a thin band :-) x
