Probably a really daft question but I just don’t know! With the buttonholes that the men wear, who wears a double one (as opposed to just a single one)? I thought that h2b and my Dad wear a double one and the rest of the men wear a single one but then my friend seems to think that the best man also has a double one? So now I’m a bit confused and need to know if I need to order another double buttonhole, because at the moment I only have two!

Or on the other hand maybe everyone should have a single one except for h2b? As that way he will stand out more as the groom – I was feeling a bit worried about how people will know he is the groom so maybe that’s my answer… any advice appreciated! Thanks :-)

All our groomsmen and both Dads will be having the same button hole and H2b will have a slightly bigger one.

Can't quite remember off the top of my head but think H2b will have an ivory rose and a purple flower (I cant remember which one we have gone for from my bouquet) and the rest will be having the ivory rose - with greenery bits too.

We didn't bother with the whole double and single things- DH had a single red rose and the Groomsmen all had single Ivory roses. They both had greenery and baby's breath (i think that's what it is called!) around them. It was nice for the Groom to have something different!

We're not bothering with double and single. They'll all have the same gypsophilia buttonholes, but h2b will have a different colour ribbon to match his cravat x

It is supposed to be the groom has a flower from the brides bouquet (traditionally) so we are having h2b with a big cream gerbera and all the other men with cream or lilac roses.

We're doing ours by the flowers. My h2b is having a red rose (red rose king) and snowdrops (his nickname for me), the GM and BMs are having peonies and snowdrops and the parents are having a red or white rose (white on mine, red on his) xoxox
