Main buttonholes are for your groomsmen etc then you can have other plain buttonholes/corsages for your guests. It's not mandatory to have buttonholes for guests but it's been traditional in all the weddings in my family so i'm sticking to that x

We're having them for everyone - but there's only 20 of us at the wedding so it just seems right (wouldn't do it for everyone if we were having hundreds lol).

What's the difference between a corsage and buttonhole?

Corsages are for the women, buttonholes for the men. They usually attch differently to compensate for the fact that women traditionally wear dresses (rather than suits like men!) Buttonholes are usually one or two flowers, corsages are usually a few smaller ones x

I know some supply buttonholes for all the male guests but special ones for the men in the bridal party. I am just having ones for my son, FIL2b, best man, usher and h2b. Also getting a corsage for MIL2b. My parents aren't coming so 2 less to buy, oh well. x

    We've got buttonholes for
    groom
    best man
    his setpdad
    person giving me away
    partners of bridesmaids

we also got ties for the partners and his stepdad. We would have got both for his father but apparently he'll be wearing some weird scottish thing that has no space for a tie or buttonhole.

no corsages as my mum's outfit is very delivate material so she said she didn;t want tone, and his mum has said she can't have any of the colors in a corsage due to the colors in her outfit so I didn't bother.

we are doing them for the best men, normally ushers tho not having those, grandad whos giving me away, daves dad, and 2 corsages for my mum and his mum. We are saying to guests that they can wear a buttonhole if they want but we will not finance this and have told them the flower needed.

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
