I was reading a story in a mag today when I was waiting at the Doctor's.
This woman was proposed to, then immediately decided to get married in South Africa where she is from. She contacted 2 cousins she hadn't seen in years and asked for full body photos so that she could see if they were suitable.
They ended up being told to shift a few pounds, so were put on a diet (she sent them a list of approved foods) and sent to boot camp.
Same with the best man and ushers.
And she vetted the outfits that all the guests were wearing!
And told everyone it started at 3 so that they would be there on time as it really started at 4.

Sorry, but if someone told me I had to go on a diet to be their bridesmaid, I would not be attending their wedding! That has to be the rudest thing I've heard.

Who the hell has the right to tell people that they aren't good enough?
Imagine pre approving someone's diet just for your wedding.

Yup I've read something like that before. I would have told her to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. What a cow and who would want to be friends with someone like that? I've got one of my guests coming in shorts and a t shirt as he has health problems and gets really hot all the time. I want him to enjoy his day like the rest of us so don't care what he is wearing as long as he is there to help celebrate our day.

Lol I think you would have to still include him if he didn't lose weight. I think its different if he needs to do it for health reasons but I know I would be furious if the h2b told me I had to lose it for the day.

So would I. He never would though. The only time he ever tells me off for eating chocolate is because I've expressed strongly that I want to lose weight. He loves me as I am, and I him :)

I just want him for as long as possible..... So I am making him slimming world foods..... But I think he wants to loose it too x
