I will be having three adult bridemaids, and what was to be three flower girls (12, 10, 2), but after purchasing the flowergirl dresses, it seems that one of the flowergirls (age 10) did not fit her dress, even though I bought it with in the age 12 size, so after returning the shop it appears that age 12 is th biggest a flowergirl dress comes in. Which then in turn raises another question, should the older flowergirls be junior bridesmaids instead, in a junior bridesmaid dress? I'm confused as to what to do as i think it may look crowded and fussy in th pictures ithere are 3 diffrent styles of dresses (bridmaid, jbridesmaid & flowergirl), but then again it may be better for the older flowergirls to be in a more age appropiate dress >:( I really am confused as to what to do, what is everybody else doing, if having flowergirl/juniors at thier wedding? Any advice would be appreciated!

Im having my sister as MOH she is in her 40s, my 2 nieces who will be 12 and 14 and my daughter as flower girl she will be 2 1/2 and they are all wearing different dresses and different shades of purple, I didnt want the stress of trying to find a dress that they all liked and would be suitable for them all!!! Iv seen photos where the BMs dresses have all been different styles but complementing colours and I think it can look really nice as their flowers will tie the outfits together. xx

The dresses in those pics are lovely, I really like that they are all different but still match each other. I think it would look very unique to have everybody in one colour, likle black, and then a splash of colour across, like red shoes, I think that would look stunning in photos. MrsDadson2b I really like the set up of your party, as my youngest flowergirl (2 and a bit!) is my daughter, and I think I would maybe prefer her to be different from the others, I think Ivory/white would be nice for my daughter and then to have the other girls in colour, and then just as you say, allow the flowers to tye everybody together xox

I'm having my sister as MOH who will be 43, BM are my friend age 35 and neice (MO's daughter) age 16. They're all different shapes with different styles so I'm letting them choose their own style of dress but having them all made in the same colour. they'll all be having the same flowers. Unfortunately there's no little girls in either family so no flower girl :( x

That sounds really nice MariaLouise, I didn't think of that, but it makes sense to have them in the same dress but straps for the younger girls and strapless for the older. I'm def thinking a white dress for my young flowergirl, maybe a mini version of my dress ;) xo
