Can anyone recommend a good bridal shop where they will advise on dresses that suit your figure etc. I am not really a dress wearer at all, so little or no clue where to start! Keen to avoid patronising/b*tchy shop assistants!
Thanks
Sarah

hiya i dont know of any bridal shops in manchester but when i go there next thursday i will try to ask around for you if you like. best thing to do is have a look at some dresses online to get a idea of what you like.

Hi if you can then come across to Huyton in Liverpool, I met Dawn from *********** who was great with advice, even suggested I didn't try some on my mum suggested as straight away she said they were too 'old'! I ended up getting my dress from ********* at ************ in liverpool too, Shirley was lovely too - have also been to some others where they were no good at all, just brought the dresses in to try that we'd selected and no advice whatsoever!
Please leave details on her wall not in the forum...............please read the rule thread Mods

I went to the bridal bit in deb en hams and also the dress shop in the arndale and both were horrible, really pushy, wanting me to make a decision right then and there on a £1900 dress. So would really recomend avoiding these two, unfortunately they are the only two I know in Manchester. I have been to two really lovely shops, lots of advice and no pressure, one was in Littlebourgh and one it Halifax. I be happy to reccomend both if you would be able to travel to either of these places.

There's a lovely shop in Hindley where I got mine and the shop owner Norma is sooooo lovely and welcoming. She'll have you trying on a few different styles to give you a good idea of what suits. will post the link on your wall.
