Hello Was wondering if anyone could help me?

I am currently in a relationship with a wonderful man who i love more then life itself.
Ive been married once before when i was 18 i just had a baby with my ex husband. and i was doing the right WELL what i thought was right thing. By doing it properly.. it ended after 6 months due to the fact i realize we done it all for the wrong reason and shortly after i met my new H2B we've now been together for 5 years! but id never though about marriage till my x husband came to me and asked for a divorce as he was getting re married!! As i told my new partner he joked about how we could now get married and here we are today.

Only problem is ive now started the divorce proceedings but am in the middle of booking my second marriage so question is, Can i book the registrar even though im not techinally divorced yet?

Any answers would be much appreciated x

I think you can book the register so you have your date booked it, but your not allowed to give notice until you are divorced... you give notice around 6 months before the wedding, so as long as your divorced my then you should be fine.x

I'm not sure either on this one. When we rang up and booked the registrar they did ask if either of us were already married so I would assume that you probably would need to be fully divorced before you can book up x x x

when we went to give notice last year, glenn had to take his divorce papers with him as proof that the mariage was ended to allow our notices to go through,if i were you id call them and check, you have plenty of time as you can only provisionally book up to 2 years in advance,so by the time you go to give notice your divorce should be finalised,if that makes sense x~x~x

Hmmmmm, right, I think I'm gonna have a word with H2B about this tonight and see if we can get it sorted. I'm having worries that we won't get the date with the registrar (granted its just me being a worrywart but still . . .)

Different areas have different rules on booking- some only take bookings 12 months in advance, others earlier.
