so i have learn a lesson today..... the best wedding fairs are the big ones that u pay to go into ( however most give bride n groom free entry) i got free entry 2day! got loads of info ,talk to loads of people! got loads of freebie! cupcakes,ginger hearts, ice cream .photo booth photo, choc fondue, strawberrys , choclate, rock pens , perfume samples ! and i have fallen in luv with balloon figures of bride n groom!! £80 bargain and photo booth for 4 hours for 450 with unlimited guests opic then we get them in a book!!

I have to admit we managed to bag a harpist for £50 an hour from our venue's wedding fair so it was a good job we went to it or we would be listening to cd's over dinner.

That's great news! I'm off to the NEC next month with SiL2B and Mil2B. Couldn't find anything about Brides (or Grooms) going for free though and I did a huge internet search to try and get the price down - £15.50 a ticket worked out quite a bit for the 3 of us! x

Awww poor millwalljayne. I found taking the h2b an advantage as he actually decided he wanted the harpist. I did want one but didn't think we would be able to afford it in the budget. He decided that she was worth the extra then it turned out to be under budget anyway! Just goes to show that sometimes it can be a blessing to take them.

I'm hoping so! I was speaking to my wedding ring designer a couple of weeks ago and they said that it costs a huge sum of money to attend these shows and there are alread 6 other ring designers/makers going to the NEC, so it's not worth them going. The organisers must be making a packet.

I went to my first show today with H2B, and I loved it! Think we have found our photographer, chair covers and cake maker, we got complimentary tickets from a friend luckily, and it was totally amazing! Our venue is having one next sunday too so we are dragging ourselves along to that, oh boy how will we cope with the free drink :D xx
