Hi ladies I'm thinking about getting some bare minerals makeup have any of you tried it?there seems to be do much of it I don't no what to choose,plus I may use it on my wedding day if it is good stuff xx

where do you buy it from, i am having my makeup done on the day so dont need it for them, but i find my makeup dreadful at staying on and i am not very good at putting it on, so if its good i would like to try it x

I think my mum got mine from QVC but I do know it's floating around in the supermarket on here. Type "Escentuals Bare Minerals" into google and it should bring up stockists.
Starter kit is between £50 & £60 but don't fall into the trap of thinking it's too expensive, 9 months on and it looks like I haven't even made a dent in mine, much cheaper overall than stuff like MAC, Benefit & Clinique etc!! I totalled up how much I spent on my regular make up over the course of a year and it came to about £85 so this stuff is nowhere near prciey really :)

When I say it lasts all day - mine usually goes on a 7.30am and is STILL on my face looking fresh at midnight!!

I think since I got it there's been a grand total of a week when I haven't used it - by now I would have normally gone through 4 pumps of foundation, 3 pressed powder compacts, 3 concealer sticks and 2 pots of blusher - no, still on the first pot of everything :)
No worries, I might go for a reps job with them :D

My original kit has;
Foundation
Mineral veil (an all over powder that puts the flawless finish onto your skin)
Warmth all over face colour (like a bronzer so it gives you a bit of colour)
Brush

then added to it;
clear radiance (can be used to give your whole face a rosy tint OR makes for an excellent blusher!!)
eyeshadow

You can buy all the bits seperately so you can pick and choose for yourself if the kits are a bit baffling

I've used bare minerals for ages they're brilliant bisque is a great concealer, light or medium beige foundation would suit you, mineral veil, lovely- a blusher which is really natural or clear radiance (not so natural looking). They are all brilliant products especially if you have sensative skin. Send me a note if you want any help sorting this out :D xxx

i have had a look on ebay and there is loads of it on there, there are starter kits too at about £30 i think that are new, maybe a bit more i cannot remember for definite, but they look really good, will definitely be getting some from somewhere x

Hey i wear bare mineral make up too. Its awesome as my skin is greasy and spot prone and it keeps my face shine free all the day and the coverage is so good you don't even have to use that much.

Being able to sleep in it is one of the upsides and unlike normal make up it doesn't stain your pillow cases if you do :)

Well you've sold it to me, i've seen the infomercials, seen how fab it looks, but never quite believe them. I am def gonna give it a go now though!

It's good stuff hun but you only need a tiny little bit! Try it before you decide to use it get some practice as everyone uses too much when they first use it :) xxx

It's fab - I use the foundation. Not tried the mineral veil though - is it worth having? Would be great to know before I buy it :) x

one of the shopping channels has it on a special introductory price at the moment. six four zero.... Also for those who want a little help around the eye area - bags/lines/dark circles I would really recommend eyesential; it is brill a definate make up bag essential for all of us.

iv ordered it online from debs 15% off and free delivery! i ordered the light one i am pretty pale skinned its worth it anyway for the brushes in the starter kit they would cost more buying them separately so iv took a risk with the colour but im sure it will be fine! woo hope its as good as everyone says! xx

im just going to look on line noew at it hun it is nice stuff looks so natural it looked really nice better than what my makeup was before i had my makeover done its worth trying it and they will show you how to put it on as they use a certain way xx
