The OH applied for time off for the wedding he's booked 2 days before off and then the following week off too
This morning he's found out it's been declined!
It's change over week at the store I'm so mad!
You can only book time off 6 months in advance and he's done it as soon as he could
He's going to have to speak to the manager but he can have the wedding day off just not the rest :(
    Feel like poo now

They dont need to know its not booked, weddins/hen dos/honeymoons, all count as exceptional circumstances. id tell them to kiss my ar$s tbh. its your wedding, not a holiday that can be resheduled...

edit* HR SHOULD be able to do something. hes much better off going to them, than back to the manager. if they say its up to managers discretion, then have a word. but see them first.

Its as though some people think jobs come before life... pi$$es me right off. yes we all have to work, but good god, will the place really fall apart with out him?

That's not ideal :( A bit mean of your OH's company but I don't think they HAVE to allow time off. All depends on your contract.

You would like to think though that your OH's company would be more understanding and generally nicer!

Aww. That was nice of him. And the stuff to do with your landlord...I think if he's forcing you to move out then you should dob him in to the council as what he asked you to do in the first place was fraud, and he's only doing it because he didn't get his own way x

Glad the time off is sorted :)

I agree with Kel about the landlord, dob him in-he was out of order asking you to do it and to say you have to move out because you didn't let him get his own way. Although I do think your better off out of there, I know timing isn't ideal but he sounds like a scumbag

I'm ringing the council today about it
If worst comes to worst tom can move back to his mums and I'll go to my stepdads and we'll be able to save up more that way
Or if it comes to it if for whatever reason we don't have the money we need for the wedding we'll get a bank loan
Don't want to do that but we've had a bank loan before for a car and paid it back 18 months early lol
