I've been so busy recently trying to get the last few things sorted I only just stopped to realise I havent actually thought about myself yet! My dress is white so I think I need a bit of colour to my skin as I am quite pale but I dont want it too dark or orange as it wouldnt look natural. Also, Im getting married on a friday and only have the thursday off before so I think I would only get a chance to have the spray tan done on the saturday (so 6 days before) at first I thought this would be fine as hopefully the colour would have faded a little bit and wont be as dark. but then i thought may be it will go patchy as it fades? has anyone had one before and can advise me how long it will last? thanks!
ps. I hear you only wear paper knickers and thats it?? lol x

Yes i have..... its awesome and looks great!

I have booked myself in for one on the wed before i get married...
one bit of advice.. make sure you exfoiliate a few days before, get off any dead skin... and go to the salon in loose track bottom and a loose hoodie (not ya best ones)

Providing you moisterize after morning n night it can last up to six weeks. xx

I've had a fair few tbh - you could have it done on an evening a few days prior?

Also I would have a few in the run up just in case - as they last longer on me then they do my mum so different skin types etc x

My mum had 1 that was AWFUL!!! So be carful, she looks like an oompah loompah on her hands and feet and it was really streaky, and this was from a professional place, she couldn't get rid of it for ages either, so if your gonna get 1 done, defo try the person out now, just incase x

i hav spray tans done all the time chick and after 6days chances are that it will be patchy. U can even get it done the morning before and let it set on ur skin all day and night then shower on ur wedding morning and itl be perfect. Jus do a trail run first to make sure it is the shade u want. I find fantasy tan really good as u can chose ur shade :-) xxx

we fit together perfectly. . .like a jigsaw puzzle.

I would say 6 day before is too long too. Definately have a trial run before hand to make sure the brand suits your skin and you get the colour you want.

You need to do it a couple of days before. The more you have done the more your skin takes to it but if its your first one you need to exfoliate and moisturise everywhere esp on your joints (knees, elbows etc)
I am going to have mine on eve on the week leading up to the wedding. I would suggest that you go for a lighter one first maybe for you hen do and then youll know what you want by the actual day
I am defo getting one done for my big day as, like you said, I want a radiant glow.
    xx

My sister got married 2 Saturdays ago and i had a spray tan done on the Thursday evening. Exfoliated in the shower before i went (lol) and it looked lovely until last Saturday when it started to go patchy! Like the other girls have said, have a trial run first then maybe go 2 nights before the big day? :0) x

    Can't wait to be married!

I get spray tans done for any occasion as they give such a lovely glow. I woulod say you def need a trial, all salons do different brands and have diferent application processes. The brand 'Famous Dave' is specially designed for brides, as it is supposed to not wear off on your dress, which is always comforting yo know :) 6 days is def too early, its recommended you get it the night before the big day, as when you get it done, you have to wear lose clothes and can't have water anywhere near you for 8 hours, so if you get it done in the evening, you just come home and head to bed, less chance for streaks, which we all know is not a great look :( The best thing to do is a have a trial, and chose your shade. Happy tanning!

the lady who did mine used suntanna range, she sprayed me at home on the wednesday,i was shocked how fast it dried, then by the evening i could shower of the residue and there was alot,i repeted the shower again the following night and the residue stopped by the friday evening it looked fab, just make sure you mostirise everynight when you have it and wash all the residue off,it didnt transfer on to my dress either

Definetly try it out before the wedding - I've had several, from different places, and the different types of fake tan can vary in how long they last... a lot of places do evening applications though. You'd definitely be better getting it a bit sooner though xx

I had one and it was brilliant..very subtle and not a streak in sight. Really natural. I had it done on the Thursday as I got married on the Saturday. I was very impressed.

I do use one of the moisturisers with a slight tanning agent in them..it builds a lovely colour over a few days too.
