HI h2b is a big chelsea fc fan and really wants to get married at stamford bridge, he decides to tell me after i have fallen in love with the venue i thought we had decided on grrrr luckily we havent put a deposit down yet, although was about to. Have looked at the website and there is very little there and it doesnt appear to be football orientated and rather a smart hotel and conference suit. Has anyone booked a wedding there, been to a wedding there or view it as a potential what are your views on it? Have asked for more info

I haven't had experience with Chelsea per se, but I have been to look at another football club and was very surprised by them! They normally can do you a better deal than a hotel as they have to compete. It's worth going to have a look and see what they offer. x

have just received an email of details from chelsea fc OMG it is really expensive so definately out of the question so back to plan A which is my choice whoop whoop :)

I'm a Chelsea fan and suggested Stamford Bridge to Dan as a possible venue but he told me outright that there wouldn't be a wedding if that was the venue!

MeIn that is not very nice :) although cant say i blame your OH :) but if you saw the prices you would probably rethink. It is basically 3000 to hire ceremony room and 4000 to hire wedding breakfast room OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
