we love Oakwell hall they had a wedding faye there about 6 months ago. but its way out of our budget! but if you can afford it go for it!!

its a £1000 for wedding and reception but you have to hire a bar and have outside caterers which bumps up the price.

I like the idea of getting married there, then taking a detour to Crow nest park to have some champers in the spot where he proposed (my mate works there so could get something set up for when we arrive) then heading off to another venue to have the reception.....
So wouldn't need the bar or the caterers. If drinks needed then it's an excuse for a booze cruize in aid of the wedding!

hey my mum was born in hudds and I have an aunty in upperthong (holmfirth) and my grandad isin holmfirth too and my grandma lives linthweight(sp?) i think lol xx my nan lives in halifax and there a cake shop just off the ainley top junction and her cake was fantastic!!! It on elland road i think the details are on my wall somewhere though i put emon quite a while ago xx you will probs have nearly everything sorted if not all of it by now though wont you? xx

Hi guys Well I've gone and done it!
I handed my notice in at work today. I am so excited. My boss wasn't in but her understudy was so I have proof that it was delivered today.
Officially my notice runs until the 16th of January, but I am owed holiday and overtime so who knows - I might get out early.
I am going to work in cleckheaton - mainly monday to friday no night shifts! So happy and can't wait.x

Hey yups.
Got moved on night shift last night, most upset. But it turns out that was my last shift. Thats it, no more.
My last shift in a strange place, with strangers and a speciality I don't know! Nice.
But I have gone, and my tea cup has officially left the building (thats the bit that made me cry - it is the longest standing not chipped or stained mug in the cupboard 8 years and still standing).

Hey all other west yorkshire brides i live in wortley leeds, getting married 18th aug 2012 at st stephens church in kirkstall & reception at three albion place in leeds city centre. Hope everyone is getting on with the preparations!! I had the florist round earlier to sort out all my flower arrangements & ordered my shoes online!!
