well i went to try on dresses yesterday, wore a strapless bra as i thought this was appropriate. the lady was taking my dress off, was pulling it down so i could step out of it and she yanked the dress and it pulled my bra. i think you can imagine what im going to say next. my boob popped out! so embarrassing, my mum didn't know where to look and the shop lady was like, iv seen it all before don't worry. so embarrassed. im dreading the actual fitting of the dress.
note to self. stick boobs into bra with double sided tape next time.

ha ha girls, laineybuy don't worry, i thought a strapless was good as it fitted under all the dresses. just make sure its the correct fit. i would have gone mad if the lady made me take my bra off.

Mines wasn't so bad as yours hun but I went to a ridiculous sale event where around 20 brides were in a wee room all trying on dresses at the same time, as you can imagine it was a nightmare. Well the other girls in my room were all size 8s and looked amazing in any dress they tried on. The first dress I tried on I looked like the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters! The second (and last) dress I tried on was a corset dress and it was beautiful, it made me look like a size 8-10 from the front and side (I'm a size 16-18) but when I turned around I got a shock. All the fat from my tum had been shoved back and up and I had a ledge of lard sat above the dress. lol. Not flattering at all. lol. xxx
Bless you Amie :) First place I went to told me to remove my bra too! I felt horrible, so embarassed I don't even go topless on the beach... but it is true I'm sure they have seen it all b4 just not mine!! xx

i had a lady undo my strapless bra, while trying to undo the attachable bra within the dress, luckly she got distracted so i had time to do the bra up before the dress came off, i dont think my mum 2 bridesmaid and two god mothers would have enjoyed the sight if i hadnt have been able to do it back up

lol Donna, im just thankful i didn't have me bridesmaids with me. i can just about face my mum after her seeing me but i would be so embarrassed in front of friends. when i go back for the acual fitting, i will make everyone wait out side just in case lol

I don't think I'd've minded so much if she'd actually shut the curtain when I was getting changed but she kept leaving it wide open when she went to get the different dresses and the shop front is based in the middle of a busy high street with people walking past... was so embarassing!!

I've had it nearly happen and had to catch it quickly as I felt it going. I think its a pretty common thing so I wouldn't worry about it. Its not like the shop is full of men staring at you and whistling.

Last time i went to try on my dress the assistant thought i should try it on with a bigger underskit so i agreed. Now the bride who had used it for her wedding last was a size 8 and im a 16 but they undid some of the stitching so i could put it on. Well as i puuled it on i knew instantly it was stuck but i was so in love with my dress i forgot about it-until i had to take it off! OH MY GOD ive never been sooooo mortified in my life! As i pulled it down i ripped all the layers on one side of the underskirt! PMSL I was bright red and sweating-WHAT A SHAN!!! x

don't worry the dresses I was trying on today I didn't wear a bra and the woman saw my boobs loads from the amount of dresses I was trying on! I was just standing with my boobs out at one point lol

I think I'd hide in the dressing room and refuse to come out if they tried taking off my bra or anything like that. If you've decided you want to wear one on the day, then there's no point trying on dresses without one - I'd feel really worried walking around all day in a strapless dress, or one with flimsy straps, knowing that if anyone steps on it or anything like that then there's going to be pictures all over the place of flashing to the whole wedding reception... no thankyou!
