As the title says, only 5 more sleeps (so everyone keeps reminding me!)

Don't get me wrong, it's wonderful that everyone is so excited BUT I do know when my wedding is! ha ha

Maybe I'm just in an "Off" mood tonight, I'm not sure but I have been ultra nervous from around 18 weeks to go, then when we got down to 3 weeks to go it was pure excitement.
Now I can say I get married this week..........I'm not really feeling much
    Is that normal?

Im wondering if its just not sunk in yet and I still have 2 days at work to go........

No cold feet or anything like that, just a "Meh...." kind of feeling!!

If anyone can shed some light on this, that may help! ha ha Thanks

Ooh very exciting :-) I think the 'meh' feeling is probs cos maybe the last week of being I married is not living up to perhaps what u thought it would be,as everyone is still going about their normal lives til later in the week...it'll come, I think most brides on here that have got married already have gone thru this stage at some point during the final week xx

    Elle, my wedding day twin!!

I have moments of being excited but majority of the time, I'm just 'meh'... I think it's not sunk in yet that it's actually on Friday...

Probably on Thursday the excitement will kick in, just in time for us to not get any sleep when we really don't want eye-bags!!

    I had the same feeling!!
I was really excited a few weeks before and then when it was only a week to go I lost all my excitement and had the same MEH feeling.
Even on the morning I was so occupied with everyone one else's excitement I forgot my own!!
You have so much going on with people you haven't seen for ages etc and you've been planning your Wedding for so long you expect to have a fuzzy loving feeling??
I didn't get that fuzzy feeling until I was stood at the front looking into my Husbands eyes!!!

Just enjoy the rest of your week, get plenty of rest and I'm sure the excitement will come back to you!!!

Best Wishes On A PERFECT Wedding Day

    :-)

Elle I'm feeling exactly the same, I'm bordering on kinda excitement and then depression that it is this weekend.

I really want to get married so don't know why I'm having these feelings. X

I was like that for the week before eveyone was making a fuss and all I wanted was for them to go away and leave me alone I got excited properly when the hairdresser and makeup lady turned up lol.... Just make the most of it cos it just all went too fast on the day and the week before as well when I think back x

I was exactly the same Elle don't worry, I was sort of excited but nothing at the same time. and by the day i was still feeling nothing as bizarre as that may be! You got stuff to keep you distracted I guess!!
Just definitely make the most of the day and take in what you can, and at one point it will most definitely sink in! xx

My friend got married on Saturday just gone and even when I was lacing her into her dress and putting her veil on her she still felt 'meh'. She said it was really surreal and she still didn't feel like she was actually getting married. It wasn't until she was just about to walk down the aisle that she turned to me and smiled and said "OK, now I feel like I'm getting married" and then started to cry! So I think it is completely natural to not feel much until that moment, up to then you are too busy thinking about what needs to be done and hoping that everything goes to plan to really feel much about actually getting married. So don't worry, you will get some feeling back, but it probably wont be until the day!! xxx

It drove me bonkers... "Are you excited yet"... "Are you nervous yet".... "Are you ready"...........BOG OFF!

I ended up just responding "No" to most of the above questions. It soon caught people off their guard. I felt very wedding-tired by the time it was a few days before and although I was excited to be marrying my husband, I just wanted it all over and done with too and I know my hubby was the same. he kept saying X days til we go on holiday rather than X days til the wedding/honeymoon.

I got excited on the morning of when I was sat in my hair salon and a lady next to me realised I was getting married and started making a fuss over me but not like.... squeeling happy excited. More just looking forward to it.

You'll get your mojo back, and if you don't as long as you enjoy your day, there's no hard a fast rules saing you must be excited etc. x
