Oooh alsorts!! I am in the process of organising a charity ball for 200 people which i do on an annual basis - takes up such a lot of time, trying to raise sponsorship, organising entertainment, chasing money, organising table plans etc etc (all good practice for wedding planning tho ha), H2B lost his job so he's in the process of setting up his own business which Im trying to help with as much as possible, my son has a few behavioural problems so I am having meetings with youth services and school regarding that, we are in the process of redecorating the kitchen, hall and kids bedrooms which is becoming a much slower project than anticipated!!! Then there's the general everyday stuff we all do - work, visiting mum, trying to keep house etc). :-) xx

Day before me!!! I've got loads going on but the wedding is def keeping me going :) xx

Well I was getting my head down had a plan on how I would do things Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,Friday, Sunday uni work then Wednesday shopping seeing family and sorting out any wedding emails ect leaving Saturday for a day out/day in with mat. Did a plan of how many words I need to do each week for my dissertation and was ready to go.... But my laptop has had other ideas!! The hard drive has gone and I have lost everything!!
I would be ok if it's just a few things I have lots but it's not. All my wedding spreadsheets that I have made and been working off, guest lists, budget list, and then 2 months worth of youth crime research that I have been doing and a the bit that I started writing up. It's a good thing I put all my photos on the book of face or I would of been even more upset.

Leah you must be so stressed, but have you tried taking it to a computer expert? Did you have a backup programme in place like n0r&0n or g00g&e. X

I help organise our towns carnival every year aswell as events throughout the year to raise mobey for our local charitys , im currentky trying to organise the Easter egg hunt, and crowning. Im baking cakes on friday for the coffee morning. And trying to organise the entertainment for after the carnival.

It worked I have all my wedding things back and uni work so I can go back to having a plan of what days I do what uni work and do wedding things. The dell man is coming later to put in the new part so can go back to been a geek . We was up all night got about two hours sleep as mat finishes work 11 so when he come in that's when we started taking the laptop apart and waiting for programs to scan ect but it was worth it.

When I was writing my masters dissertation I had it on the college computer, my lap-top, and at least two floppy disks (believe it or not they were still around in 2006). I was so paranoid about losing it. I'm working full-time, but spare time is spent practicing the flute, promoting myself locally as far as possible, and sorting out the clutter in my room ready to move to H2B's. I won't actually move in officially until the wedding, but I'll gradually start moving stuff over. There's also the chance that I might have to move twice, as my landlady's ex is forcing a sale. There's nothing she can do about it, and I knew there was a chance that this would happen. As it happens at the moment there isn't much interest, so we may yet still be there come August. I don't want to move to H2B's early, as it won't feel right, so I'm prepared that I may end up living out of boxes for a couple of months.
