first: no band for the reception. Its a massively long story that gets me SO cross so I wont start it. second: my dad was rushed to hospital on Monday night, the are doing tests. He's in until Sunday and tne wordt thing is IM over here in Bristol and he's in Ireland. third: my bridal car has no roof (they lost it)
I need a band. I need to be with my dad and I need a flipping roof.

sorry i had to laugh when you said about the roof. Agree with halloween-bride. How the? Surely they should give you your money back to get another. I would demand it. Do you have insurance? if the band cancelled on you you should beable to get money to get another, might be able to even if they gave your money back.

That's what I said. She said its a soft top vintage car and they have "misplaced" it. I had to hand the phone to H2B because I was going to rip her head off. H2B is at work and I'm searching the old inter-web for a band.

see that's the thing... we called in lots of favours for the wedding (doing it for under 5000) and our car if free...also BIL2B's friend was doing the band but they fell out over 50 quid so the band wont play if he will be there and he wont come if the band play.(childish I know, that's another days rant). I'm willing to spend up to 350 on a band but no one will play for that. Our DJ said he'll play music through a PA system until we need him but I really want a band. Should I just accept that or am I being selfish in wanting a band?
