We are dog friendly in all areas of the business.
The White Hart was built in 1788 by local landowner John Buckley
The Buckley family sold the pub in 1921 to the Gartside Brewery and remained a brewery until 1987.
In 1994 the current owner bought the freehold of The White Hart

Fabulous food
We’ve dined and attended wedding at this venue before it’s lovely. Our main reason is the food is outstanding! Organising booking the venue has been a really easy process and I can’t wait to do more. They’ve got really good communication and nothing is too much effort for them it seems. Great view opposite of the hills too.

Amazing and beautiful venue
We originally booked our wedding for Oct 2020 and have since postponed twice due to the pandemic and the White Hart have been amazing and so understanding. They have explained everything and rearranged everything with no issues.

Can’t wait to have our wedding there
I must have visited 10+ venues before we came to see The White Hart and as soon as I saw the Pavilion and conservatory, that was it for me. I wasn’t interested in seeing any other venue (and I’m super picky!) the staff, especially the Events Manager, are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The costing was super straightforward, which I struggled with elsewhere, and they have been so so accommodating.
