Check your space: Have a look at our website for some to-scale floorplans to get an idea of what you can fit in, and how much space you will have to dance and mingle

Book early: To nab your first choice of venue/supplier (and to lock in lower prices or discounts), earlier is better. Try for 18 months in advance where possible

Practicalities! These include power, heating and toilets. We work with some of the best suppliers and will all these necessities for you ensuring your wedding goes really well.

Don't feel you have to conform to the 'normal' formula, it's ok to be unconventional and have your wedding your way

Try to delegate any jobs to bridesmaids or groomsmen so your day is your own

Always consider alternative lighting options - they can provide practical lighting as well as adding to the atmosphere

Lighting is a very important part of your marquee wedding and can make a huge difference. We will advise on what lighting sets the vibe you are looking for and make your event come to life!

We can arrange for Festival Wedding Weekends so you can have the entire estate for a whole weekend surrounded by all of your family & friends

Remember if your venue location doesn't supply power, water and toilets be sure to remember to include these in your budget.

View your venue 12 months before to see what it looks like at that time of year. A woodland setting in May with a carpet of bluebells will look very different in late September!

If using Bell tents make sure you're supplier has done a site visit to avoid any unnecessary stress on the day.

Although an outdoor wedding gives you more flexibility to plan your day exactly how you envision. Take your time to carefully plan out the location of your Marquee or Yurt and the time of year.
