Hi everyone. I've been looking at wedding insurance. Who has everyone gone with? (My wedding budget is approx £15k).

We used Debenhams, thankfully didn't have to use the insurance but it was straightforward to get and they do clear breakdowns of what is covered by each quote, based on the overall cost of your wedding and any specialist extras

Ours was with debenhams! We didn't need it but it didn't cost much and I felt at ease knowing I was covered if something went wrong x

We went with dreamsaver wedding insurance as we used a comparison site and they were the cheapest...our wedding budget is a lot less than yours as we're paying for it ourselves so the cover was OK for us. You'd have to check which ones offer the best cover for the cost of your wedding

I've used debenhams and you get a £20 gift voucher too. It's really easy to see what they offer and what's covered and easy to buy x

We used dreamsaver.
My only advice would be though, if possible, pay suppliers with credit card. Our transport company went bust 2 weeks before our big day and this was not covered by the insurance!! We had to pay out again for another company and lost the lot

We used Debenhams, covered the public liability insurance we needed for the wedding venue and the marquee insurance for the reception as well as all the standard things for a very reasonable price.

I used a broker direct, they are the same broker that Debenhams use as their insurance underwriter but cheaper! X
