Georgina & Pete's Wedding Story
When and how did you first meet? Pete and I used to work together and met in the kitchen at the works xmas party – last ones getting a bacon roll – over 8 years ago
Who popped the big question and how did they propose? Pete and was in London as said we had an appointment to go ring shopping – so I guess I should ask you the question ????
How long did it take you to plan your wedding? – 8 months roughly
Why did you choose your venue? – loved the rural location, the staff, the intimacy and DOG FRIENDLY
Was there an inspiration or theme for your wedding? – rustic and country
What made you choose your photographer? – recommendation and quality of pictures and the fact that Dean is the nicest guy ever!!!
How did your wedding photographer capture your big day memories? – Dean wasn’t just our photographer – he orchestrated the whole day with Brinsop and kept a close eye on timings for us – he was just amazing and put us at ease
Did you hire a wedding planner or was it a DIY affair? DIY, but everyone at Brinsop (TYLER) was amazing and were in effect wedding planners
Did you make, design or create anything yourself? My mother-in-law made all the favours
Tell us about the wedding dress – Suzanne Neville and was the most amazing dress ever – so much so I want to keep the top half and wear again ????
What did the groom wear? – Navy Suit
Did you incorporate any special family details or heirlooms, for example? – We had a helicopter which was a friend of the family. I wore my Sisters veil which she had at her wedding 10 years ago
Did you have something old, new, borrowed and blue? - YES
What song did you walk down the aisle to? – Brain Adams “anything I do I do for you”
Did you have any special readings during the service? – a friend chose one especially and customised it to represent us as a couple and individuals
What did you have for your wedding breakfast/catering? – Roast Beef
What kind of cake did you go for? – Naked cake, x4 layers and all different flavours
What was your first dance song? – The Greatest Showman
What was your favourite part of your wedding day? – The whole day… the first dance… the food… so many special memories
Did everything go to plan? - YES
What advice would you give anyone planning their big day? Don’t worry about the details as no one else will and delegate
