Children dilemma

Me and my partner have decided we don’t want children at our wedding. However, I have two flower girls, one is my niece and the other is my maid of honours child. Both I am really close to. We figured we would save a lot of money on our wedding not having loads of children. How do we politely tell our guests on the invitations that we don’t want their children to attend our big day? And will it looks hypocritical already having two children as flower girls?

HI, I'm not sure if you have already done your invitations. We have done the same. We have 7 children at our wedding including 2 of our own. We popped a little message on the invitations basically saying we would like our guests to let their hair down so only close family children will be invited. Some guests were a little narky due to having to find babysitters but majority were okay with it. It's your day, don't let anyone pressure you into inviting children if you don't want them there. x
